Our inaugural production tells the true story of the devastating 1969 Tulbagh earthquake—a 6.3 magnitude event that struck a small South African town in the early morning hours of September 29th. In 46 seconds, centuries of architecture crumbled, lives were forever altered, and a community faced a choice: scatter in fear or unite in hope.
TORN EARTH weaves together interlocking stories of love, sacrifice, resilience, and redemption. Through the eyes of four compelling characters, we witness how crisis reveals character, how suffering can unite what division separates, and how faith transforms tragedy into testimony.
This is more than a disaster film—it's a powerful metaphor for the fractures in our own lives, communities, and world. When the ground beneath us gives way, what remains? When everything we've built crumbles, what do we rebuild? And when we're forced to depend on each other, can we find unity in our shared humanity?
